A combined heat and power (CHP) system, which consists of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell an integrated processor is developed based on solving the energy balance between endothermic exothermic hydrogen production reactions. The system simplifies traditional complex processing, only three reactor units are needed—catalytic combustion, new CO removal. In novel CHP H2-rich reformate from methanol water approximately 8 Nm3 h−1 with H2 concentration 53%–55% less than 30 ppm. was run continuously for more 1100 h. demand observed to be about 2–9 kW corresponding usual load residential unit. To increase whole efficiency, anode off-gas (AOG) returned utilized in catalytic combustion improve efficiency system. average can increased 60.3% 67% by utilization AOG combustion.
